DeFi’s next battle may be about access, not just yield.
Chainlink launched CCIP Vault Adapters, allowing supported vaults to accept deposits from 80+ blockchains without deploying a separate vault on every chain. Aave and other protocols are among the early adopters.
If this reduces friction for users and capital, cross-chain infrastructure could become a bigger part of the DeFi story.
