The Mnemonic phrase is a private key that is not encrypted. If someone did get ahold of your Mnemonic phrase, it is equivalent to taking control of your wallet. When using Mnemonic phrase, you need to pay attention to the following points:
- After created a wallet in the APP, please back up Mnemonic phrase immediately.
- When backing up Mnemonic phrase, you should use physical media, such as copying on a paper. To keep your assets safe, do not screenshot
- To ensure that the backup Mnemonic phrase is correct, proofread the Mnemonic phrase multiple times, you can import Mnemonic phrase to my Ether wallet to verify.
- Be sure to take care of your Mnemonic phrase you have backed it up.
