OKX Summer of Crypto Pop-Up Promotion Terms and Conditions

The OKX Summer of Crypto Pop-Up ("Promotion") is a promotional event conducted by the promoter, OKX Australia Pty Ltd ABN 22 636 269 040 of 11/307 Queen Street Brisbane QLD 4000 ("the Promoter", "OKX", "we", "us"). The Promotion includes all associated activities, such as participant entry, prize allocation, and prize redemption processes, as detailed in these terms and conditions.
Promotion Period: The Promotion starts 16:00 AEDT on 7 February 2025 to 17:00 AEDT on 9 February 2025 (or when the Total Available Rewards are exhausted, whichever is earlier) ("Promotion Period"). The booth hours during the Promotion Period are as follows:
1. 7 February 2025: 16:00 - 19:00 AEDT
2. 8 February 2025: 08:00 - 19:00 AEDT
3. 9 February 2025: 08:00 - 17:00 AEDT
Eligibility criteria:
1. Entry to the Promotion is open to Australian residents over the age of 18 who fulfill the method of entry requirements.
2. Proof of eligibility:
3. 1. New users must present proof of Australian residency to demonstrate eligibility.

  3. 1. bring a friend who meets the eligibility criteria for new users;
    2. provide proof of a verified OKX account by showing their logged-in status on the OKX app; and
    3. demonstrate successful completion of identity verification on the OKX platform.
4. Employees, contractors, and affiliates of OKX are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.
Method of entry:
1. Participants must attend the OKX booth at Bondi Beach (corner of Campbell Pds and Hall St, Bondi Beach, Sydney)
2. New users must:
3. 1. download the OKX app and sign up for an OKX account in person at the booth at Bondi Beach (Corner of Campbell Pde and Hall St, Bondi Beach, Sydney) during the Promotion Period; and
  2. opt-in to receive marketing communications from OKX at the time of registration.
4. Existing users must:
5. 1. bring a friend who is eligible to enter as a new user;
  2. show proof of a verified OKX account in their name (logged in) and demonstrate successful completion of ID verification; and
  3. opt-in to receive marketing communications from OKX at the booth.
6. There is no entry fee for participating.
How to participate: Eligible participants must first meet the applicable requirements outlined in clause 4 before they are eligible to enter the booth. Once deemed eligible:
1. Participants may enter the booth and randomly select a Mystery Box containing one of the following prizes
2. 1. beach towel;
  2. cap; or
  3. mystery token.
3. Participants who draw a beach towel or cap can redeem their prizes directly with a booth attendant.
4. Participants who draw a 'Mystery Token' prize card must scan the QR code printed on the card to begin the prize redemption process. Scanning the QR code will direct participants to the Mystery Token Redemption Process, detailed in clause 6 below.
Mystery Token Redemption Process: To redeem the 'Mystery Token' prize, participants must complete the following steps after scanning the QR code on their prize card:
1. Step 1: Submit the redemption form
  Complete and submit the form accessed via the QR code to a booth attendant on the day of participation. The form will only be valid if signed off by the booth attendant.
2. Step 2: Complete and pass identity verification
  New users must complete and pass identity verification on the OKX platform ("ID verification"). Existing users who have already passed ID verification do not need to repeat this step.
3. Step 3: Click "Join now" and follow the prompts to reveal and redeem your mystery token prize
  Once users have successfully passed ID verification, participants must click the "Join now" button on the landing page accessed via the QR code and follow the prompts to reveal which cryptocurrency prize they have won and to finalise redemption. This button will be available from 12:00 PM AEDT on 13 February 2025, provided participants have completed steps 1 and 2.
All steps in the Mystery Token Redemption Process must be completed by 30 April 2025 in order to redeem their Mystery Token prize.
Limit on Prizes: Each eligible participant is limited to one prize only for the duration of the Promotion.
Prize details:
1. All prizes are awarded randomly. Participants who enter the booth and select a Mystery Box may receive one of the following prizes:

3. Participants who draw a 'Mystery Token' prize card and successfully complete the Mystery Token Redemption Process (see clause 6) by 30 April 2025 will win one of the following cryptocurrency prizes selected at random:
4. 1. 100,000 PEPE (400 prizes available)
  2. 2,000 MEMEFI (350 prizes available)
  3. 50 DOGE (300 prizes available)
  4. 2,000 PENGU (300 prizes available)
  5. 150 MOVE (200 prizes available)
  6. 1 SOL (50 prizes available)
  7. 1 ETH (2 prizes available)
  8. 0.05 BTC (1 prize available)
5. Total Prize Pool: The total prize pool of $140,830.70, based on cryptocurrency valuation as of 3 January 2025. Cryptocurrency values are subject to market fluctuations.
6. The Total Available Rewards refers to the entire set of Mystery Boxes allocated for this Promotion, containing the prizes listed above in this clause. Once all Mystery Boxes have been selected, no further prizes will be available, and the Promotion will conclude, even if this occurs before the scheduled date.
Notification of prize: Participants who select a Beach Towel or Cap are notified of their prize immediately upon choosing a Mystery Box. Participants who select a 'Mystery Token' prize card learn they have won a Mystery Token at that time, but the specific cryptocurrency prize is revealed only after they complete the redemption process outlined in clause 6.
Redemption requirements:
1. Beach towels or caps: participants who draw a beach towel or cap prize card must redeem their prize directly with a booth attendant on the day of participation.
2. Mystery Tokens: participants who select 'Mystery Token' prize card must follow and complete the Mystery Token Redemption Process (see clause 6) to redeem their prize. All steps, including completing and passing identity verification and clicking the "Join now" button, must be completed by 30 April 2025. Failure to fulfil the required conditions by the specified deadline will result in forfeiture of the prize. Mystery token prizes will be credited to the participant's OKX account only after all required steps are completed and verified. In the event of technical issues or system limitations, there may be a delay in the crediting of rewards. OKX reserves the right to postpone the issuance of rewards at its discretion as required, provided reasonable notice is given to users who are eligible for the rewards.
3. Failure to fulfill these conditions in this clause by the specified deadlines will result in forfeiture of the prize.
Due to the nature of the Promotion, unclaimed prizes will remain unallocated and will not be redistributed.
Each prize winner(s) first name, last initial and postcode will be published on okx.com on 7 May 2025.
OKX will collect participants' names, email addresses, and proof of eligibility for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the promotion and awarding any prizes. Participants will also be added to the OKX's marketing database upon opting in. All data will be handled in accordance with OKX's Privacy Notice. Participants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
OKX accepts no responsibility for lost, misplaced or unclaimed prizes, incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete submissions, or any errors caused by participants, including but not limited to failure to complete any required steps for prize redemption.
OKX accepts no responsibility for participants who fail to pass ID verification and are therefore unable to claim their prize. It is the sole responsibility of each participant to ensure that they meet the necessary identification and verification requirements to complete the ID verification process.
This Promotion is subject to all applicable laws, including the Lotteries and Art Unions Act 1901 and Community Gaming Regulation 2020.

General Terms

Users who participate in this Promotion acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion.
These Terms & Conditions form part of the OKX Terms of Service - Australia. If you do not comply with the OKX Terms of Service - Australia at any time, you will not be eligible to participate in the Promotion.
This Promotion is not intended as a recommendation to deal in any products, or investment advice.
Any and all applicable taxes and all fees and additional expenses related to acceptance and use of the reward are the sole responsibility of the individual reward recipient.
During the Promotion Period, OKX will monitor the behaviour of traders to avoid any form of cheating or abnormal behaviour, including but not limited to: registering multiple accounts, using other people's accounts, using other people's information to register accounts, false KYC information, maliciously increasing trading data, engaging in laundering trades or wash trades, violating the terms and conditions of the campaign, violating local regulatory rules for transaction and any other campaigns related to illegal, fraudulent or harmful purposes, etc. If any of the above acts are deemed to be discovered by OKX, OKX reserves the right to disqualify the user from the reward.

The value of digital assets, including but not limited to stablecoins, can and do fluctuate greatly from time to time. The value of any reward under this Promotion at the time a participant qualifies for such reward may not be equal to the value of such reward at the time of distribution to the participant. Due to such fluctuations, users may experience a significant increase or decrease in the value of their assets at any given moment.
OKX reserves the right of final interpretation of the Terms & Conditions of this campaign, provided that such interpretation is reasonable.
OKX is not responsible for technical, graphic, typographical or editorial errors or omissions.
To the greatest extent permitted by law, OKX excludes all warranties, representations or guarantees ("Warranties") regarding the Promotion and any prizes, including any Warranties which may have been made in the course of advertising or promoting the Promotion. The conduct of the Promotion or the supply of prizes may involve third parties, and OKX makes no Warranties and disclaims all liability in connection with any such third parties, their acts or omissions. By entering the Promotion, an entrant releases and indemnifies OKX and its related bodies corporate (including the officers, employees and agents of each) from and against all actions, penalties, liabilities, claims or demands the entrant may have against OKX or that OKX may incur for any loss or damage which is or may be suffered or sustained as a direct or indirect result of an entrant entering or participating in the Promotion or winning or failing to win a prize, or using or permitting any other person to use the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law or which would cause any part of this clause to be void or unenforceable.
Without limiting any of the foregoing, in no circumstances will an entrant or OKX have any liability to the other for any loss or damage suffered which is indirect or consequential in nature, including without limitation any loss of profit, loss of reputation, loss of goodwill, or loss of business opportunity.
OKX and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any delay, damage, or loss in transit of prizes.
OKX may in its absolute discretion not accept a particular entry, may disqualify an entry, or cancel the entire Promotion at any time without giving reasons and without liability to any entrants, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. Without limiting this OKX reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, prize claims and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry or prize claim that is misleading or not in accordance with these Terms of entry or who manipulates or tampers with the entry process. In the event that a winner breaches these Terms of entry, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. Verification is at the discretion of OKX, whose decision is final. Failure by OKX to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. Where a prize is unavailable for any reason, OKX may substitute the prize for another item of equal or higher value subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. OKX accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value (including between advertising of the Promotion and receipt of the prize).
In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders OKX’s ability (or that of a third party involved with the Promotion) to proceed with the Promotion on the dates and in the manner described in these Terms of entry, including but not limited to vandalism, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, OKX’s obligations in respect of the Promotion will be suspended for the duration of the event and, in addition, OKX may in its absolute discretion cancel the promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to approval of the relevant authorities.
Any disputes or complaints regarding the Promotion must be submitted in writing to OKX at support@okx.com. OKX reserves the right (acting reasonably) to resolve disputes at its sole discretion, and its decision will be final and binding. The Promotion and these Terms of entry will be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Entrants accept the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts and tribunals of New South Wales in connection with disputes concerning the Promotion.
