Why is Pay moving to Simple mode?

Pay is moving to Simple mode, bringing everything together in one place.

You’ll still enjoy all the features you love, including sending and receiving crypto, as well as shopping with crypto at GrabPay merchants. Update your app to start experiencing it.

What's included in Simple Pay?

With Simple Pay, you can:

• Pay any contacts using USDT, USDC, and USDG on X Layer

• Scan QR code to pay GrabPay merchants

• Add funds from Portfolio

• Transfer funds to Portfolio

• Send funds to external wallet addresses

What has changed?

As part of this update:

• Pay mode is no longer available in Singapore

• Pay now supports USDG, USDT, and USDC on X Layer only

• Token conversion isn't available

Why did we make this change?

Simple Pay reduces complexity and makes it easier to use Pay for everyday transactions. We’ll continue expanding features over time.
