Let me talk about the Alkanes asset 2:490, CheekyB, with the symbol CKB. In the morning, Bitcoin's gas was still between 2-3, but in the afternoon, it gradually increased to around 5, with lows still at 2-3. By around 7 PM, gas surged to about 8 and remained high, now directly exceeding 11. I guess it's the Alkanes asset being minted, so I checked the minting panel and was shocked. The memory pool had as many as 20,000 transactions waiting to be processed, with the highest transaction gas reaching 14-15. Then I searched for related information on Twitter, and the earliest post was from @GIZG0D, who tweeted about it. I suspect he deployed it. The next question is whether this asset deployment is his personal action or supported by the Puppet community. I took two actions: 1⃣ I asked the core volunteer of the BTC Puppet community, @btc_ordi. Early in the morning, I woke him up with a voice message on WeChat. I sent him the information I found and asked him to verify it within the Puppet community. He checked for about 10 minutes and told me it was most likely initiated by someone in the community. 2⃣ Meanwhile, I directly messaged @GIZG0D, asking whether this protocol asset was issued by the community or was a personal action. He did not respond directly but hinted that he was inspired by the Puppet's work and then initiated the asset issuance. Since it was a private Twitter message, I can't provide screenshots. Conclusion: The Alkanes 2:490 asset was a spontaneous action by a member of the Puppet community. However, whether it will receive community support remains unknown. Overall, this is a positive signal, indicating that the Alkanes protocol is gaining more attention from Bitcoin OGs and some major mainstream communities, and even active participation. #Bitcoin #Alkanes #METHANE
