Remora Markets
Remora’s tokenized stocks on Solana are now live. After many months of building, Remora is here to enable direct access to tokenized equities — starting with companies like $NVDA, $CRCL and $TSLA. This means: • 24/7 onchain trading without brokers • Onchain yield opportunities within @solana’s DeFi ecosystem • Global access from any market Our mission is to bridge the gap between TradFi and DeFi, allowing the tokenization of stocks and creating an entrance to traditional markets for crypto natives around the world. It all starts with today's launch of a selected group of tokenized U.S. stocks. See below for the full list of assets available on day one.

Re: partial liquidations The question is - how much should you liquidate at once? Some claim that tiny partial minimal liquidations are superior. That's simply not true. The reality is that there is no correct close factor. It's all path dependent. The value depends on how the market path unfolds after the first liquidation is triggered. Two cases: - If the market keeps falling, larger partial liquidations (10%) are better. You liquidate more collateral *earlier* at a higher price. - If the market rebounds quickly, smaller partial liquidations are better because less collateral was sold on the dip and you retain more exposure. And that’s the point: you cannot know how the market will behave once a dip begins. Crypto markets are volatile and every drawdown looks different, which means there's no magic number and you can’t simply calibrate to past data. What matters is balance: - Too small and you risk "death by a thousand cuts". You keep selling the dip over and over and over. - Too large and you risk over-liquidation if the market bounces. Kamino now uses a 10% close factor for most markets because it's a reasonable balance. It protects borrowers from excessive liquidation, protects the lenders (they matter too!) and the protocol from runaway risk. You have to balance borrower experience and protocol safety. As they say, for every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong. Simplistic claims like this are usually mathematically and financially wrong. In lending and risk, nuance matters.
