i sometimes forget how much of an attention-vacuum crypto bull markets are, you literally can’t focus on anything else because jim, 41, from rural Alaska just made $5M trading a coin you hated on the entire bear market (looking at you xrp, ada)
but that’s why people keep coming back - it’s addictive and frankly awesome that you can just pull out your phone Tao a few buttons and change the direction of your life.
i often think about how you could apply this attention vacuum to pretty much any area of research, investment, industry or technology. as we exit the memecoin era and take on a more legit, revenue focused angle on the assets we create I can’t help but think crypto will end up being the best vehicle for fundraising, gamifying user behaviour, social investing, IPO-ing and equitable ownership. it’s obvious and I think we get there <5 years.
