To be honest, as a KOL, I'm actually quite poor, far less wealthy than those big players. But I'm also young, only 23 years old. I've experienced moments in my freshman and sophomore years when I secretly wiped my tears in bed at night while my roommates were asleep due to financial struggles. So after slowly saving up some capital over the past two years, my risk appetite has gradually decreased, and this year I haven't even gone all in. Because I know my income is decent, plus I have good investment and financial management skills, and I possess a certain business acumen. As long as I stay steady, by the time I'm 30-35, I likely won't have to worry about money. Therefore, what I need to do is: survive in the market for the long term. A few days ago during the BSC craze, I bought some leading tokens and made a little profit, which is nothing compared to those big players. But I noticed that during the National Day holiday, Bitcoin hit a historical high, yet aside from BSC-related altcoins, other altcoins couldn't move at all, so I reduced my position to below 10%. Today, it seems like I'm still hanging in there.
A couple of days ago, I called for a reduction in my positions, and it seems to have been a big success? The market has seen a significant drop due to Trump's tariffs. A couple of days ago, I posted reminders to be aware of the risks and to look for opportunities to retreat. However, the rebound of the dollar index mentioned in my previous post is not the same situation. The reminder to reduce positions a couple of days ago helped avoid the drop, which has an element of luck, but it's not entirely luck. A couple of days ago, BSC was very hot, and Bitcoin reached a high of 126,000, but I observed that other quality altcoins were not moving, so reducing positions was reasonable. However, today's drop caused by tariff comments presents an opportunity to buy back in and continue trading. Because the impact of tariffs on the market is already minimal, if the market goes bearish in the future, it is likely not because of tariffs, but due to other events. Look for opportunities to buy back in and trade.
