It’s crazy to see the $XRP misinformation machine operate in real time What started as a screenshot of an article from some random private fund based in Gibraltar speculating about Swift’s digital asset trials somehow benefiting a random assortment of coins Has now turned into full blown fake news about “Swift testing XRP” and “Swift using XRP in live trials” Rather than looking for an official confirmation, retail investors ask ChatGPT or Grok “is this true”, which then proceeds to hallucinate and tell them what they want to hear, confirming their delusions This is not the first time this kind of fake news has happened, the sheer amount of misinformation on the internet about $XRP and institutions supposedly adopting it is staggering, people just eat this shit up Here’s the reality: Swift isn’t choosing any specific blockchain(s) or digital asset(s), look at the public statements they have made, they’re working with Chainlink to enable Swift member banks to connect to any public/private blockchain using their existing infrastructure and messaging standards to transact with any digital/tokenized asset This is not my speculation, this is what Swift themselves have said repeatedly and publicly over the course of the many years they’ve been working with Chainlink Receipts in the next tweet below
