Camp Network seems to have bewitched a lot of people, and I estimate it will be a good big deal. They completed a round of financing of $25 million on April 29, with many established investment institutions participating, such as 1KX, Maven11, and Blockchain Capital, which are all solid investments.
It is quite similar to the MOVE project, and many people dislikefully link the two, believing they come from the same team. I checked it out.
The two founders of @Campnetworkxyz, @jameskchi and @niravmurthy, both come from the University of California, Berkeley (with that background, it's no wonder they quickly secured such a large amount of funding).
They are not from the same school as the founders of MOVE, and the main investors in the two projects are also completely different.
When looking at things, one should focus on the essence and not let superficial appearances obscure their vision.
This is quite interesting:
I think Camp's acquisition of KOR Protocol is quite visionary. First of all, Camp focuses on high-performance public chain L1 with IP autonomous intellectual property, while KOR's feature is the ability to achieve large-scale IP tokenization.
The IP intellectual property regulation + IP tokenization provided by Camp can simply solve both the accessibility and enforceability issues of IP, perfectly combining them.

This NFT that just came out is mint one (free) anyway, just in case
The 29 million dollar financing @campnetworkxyz foundation officially promoted the establishment of a fast TGE, and the official issued a testnet NFT, which was carried out without interaction
1. Claim the test coin $CAMP
The NFTs are then minted
2. Zama Guild Badge (SBT Soulbound Type)
Camp a lot of people think it's a project that people in Move come out to do.,Don't do this.,I don't think it's necessary.,Move starts if you choose to receive an airdrop.,It's a big wool.,When there's a problem, it's a matter of the back.,Don't get along with money.,And all of its current interactions are testnet zero.
Key Positioning of Camp Network:
- A Layer 1 blockchain designed for intellectual property (IP) management, focusing on the convergence of AI and the creator economy, solving problems such as data ownership, piracy, and unauthorized use of AI training data.
- The goal is to become a decentralized IP infrastructure, build a user-owned IP library, and support the on-chain registration and monetization of art, music, video, personal data and other diverse content
Main application scenarios
1. AI Training Data Authorization:
Creators register the content to the global IP library on the chain, AI developers pay a fee to obtain the authorization data, and the income is automatically distributed through smart contracts
2. Derivative Works & Revolving Royalties:
Track the original IP and derivative works (such as AI recreation) through the "graph structure" to ensure that the original author continues to receive a share
3. Web2 Content Assetization:
Social media content (e.g., viral videos) can be registered as on-chain assets, and businesses need to purchase a license to commercialize it, and creators can directly monetize
epilogue
With decentralized IP management as the core, Camp builds a collaborative ecosystem between creators and AI through gasless registration, traceability protocol and AI agency framework, and its $30 million financing, active testnet and head partners have laid an important position in the Web3+AI track, and with the main network approaching, the project may become a key infrastructure to solve the data ownership crisis
