Fudding my own bags here but Kaito has become unusable
- The #5 account in CT mindshare tweeted misinformation all week
- The #1 Pre-TGE project pays people to post pictures of their own feces
- Easily gamified algorithm has become exploited by Airdrop Farmers
I used to log into Kaito every day to check my yaps, new leaderboards, etc but I rarely use it anymore
Partnering with Kaito used to be perceived as a brand lift/bullish
Now it's basically opting into paying $150k for mindless noise
You're WAY better off giving that money to 5-10 high impact creators that you align with and letting them do their thing
Btw I have muted/unfollowed over 100 Kaito yappers
Same with 5 or so leaderboards
I still believe in Yu Hu & team (which is why I own like $10k of the Kaito token)
But right now the focus has steered completely away from "high signal content" and instead just keyword optimizing and promoting vanity metrics
