24 hrs later a listener in my space had thugmonkez spun up and ready to mint. It was a meme from the beginning and they told people not to mint. It sold out in hours and half the ecosystem was in on the joke, the other half were outraged and made it massive drama for some reason.
I’ve been associated with them ever since and it took years to change the brand damage from a rug to a group of idiots who say dumb things on the internet. All my closest friends in crypto came from that joke 4 years ago. It’s by far the least profitable use of my time in crypto but it’s the been the best crypto thing thats ever happened to me.
