Wow, last time ZachXBT deleted the tweet that accused USDC and was used by North Korean hackers, I thought it was public, but I didn't expect it to go to collect evidence and explode a bigger one.
1. The investigation found that since the beginning of this year, more than $16.58 million has been sent to disguised North Korean IT engineers who develop for various companies, most of which have been distributed through USDC.
2. Their goal is to infiltrate companies, steal money, and serve North Korea.
3. Based on the monthly salary of each engineer, $3,000 – $8,000, it means that they have infiltrated at least 345 or up to 920 tech company or crypto jobs.
4. Some project managers found that even though these employees claimed to live in the same city as the team, they always refused to meet offline, and even three North Korean engineers pushed each other to work in the same project, thus infiltrating the entire company.
5. They wear many hats, and even if they are quickly fired and job hopping due to poor performance, as long as they get the contract authority, the project will immediately face the risk of safety incidents.
6. In the early years, these people would open accounts or circulate through Binance, but as Binance's risk control has become stricter, it is rare to see them nowadays, but instead MEXC has become the preferred place.
But to be honest, this North Korean hacker looks like a general.,It's really a little similar.。。

1/ My recent investigation uncovered more than $16.58M in payments since January 1, 2025 or $2.76M per month has been sent to North Korean IT workers hired as developers at various projects & companies.
To put this in perspective payments range from $3K-8K per month meaning they have infiltrated 345 jobs on the low end or 920 jobs on the high end.
