✨ This is the first preliminary report analyzing how different regions engage with different coin ecosystems. It compares East Asia with the rest of the global community, based on coin mentions on Twitter by thousands of carefully selected crypto users over the past six months. This report can help you understand which regions may have deeper informational advantages in specific ecosystems, useful when building your information-gathering strategy, or for project founders deciding which chains to build on and how to shape region-specific marketing strategies. *This analysis is the result of significant personal effort and is not available anywhere else. I highly recommend bookmarking it for future reference. 🔑 Key Findings East Asia is significantly more active in chains outside of Solana compared to the global average. Excluding Solana, BNB Chain is the most active network in East Asia, largely driven by Chinese-speaking users. This may be due to a strong Mandarin-speaking community and the fact that CZ occasionally shares updates in Chinese. Ethereum also sees more activity in East Asia than globally, particularly driven by Japanese users. Base is also more active in East Asia compared to global averages, with Korean user activity standing out. This may be related to their level of engagement with the Kaito and Virtuals ecosystem. 🌏 Top 3 ecosystems in the “Others” category in East Asia 1⃣ Chinese-speaking and Korean users: Avalanche, Arbitrum, TON 2⃣ Japanese users: TON, Sui, Avalanche ✍️ Conclusion While this is a short preliminary analysis, it clearly shows that the focus on coin ecosystems differs greatly across regions. In other words, high-quality information about specific ecosystems is likely to be concentrated in the languages and cultural spheres of the regions most active in those ecosystems. Not only do East Asia and the global average differ significantly, but even within East Asia, there are clear distinctions between Japan, the Chinese-speaking world, and Korea. This indicates that a more nuanced and localized approach will be essential for marketing and community-building going forward.
