Major update:
Wyoming selects Sei for its official stablecoin pilot
Sei, with a score of 30, ranked above top competitors like Base (25), Sui (26), Avax (27), Ethereum (26), Algorand (21), and Ripple using a formal scoring guide that compared things like performance, userbase, uptime, security, and infrastructure
This is one of the first real government pilots using public blockchain infrastructure and a clear sign Sei is at the forefront of real-world adoption
With growing usage, rising TVL, and clear ecosystem strength, Sei stood out as one of the top ecosystems for deploying Wyoming’s stablecoin
The scoring showed Sei ahead of both Aptos and Hedera across key metrics: TPS, fees, and transaction finality
Sei Network has been selected by the Wyoming Stable Token Commission as a candidate blockchain for WYST 🇺🇸
WYST is the first fiat-backed stablecoin issued by a U.S State and will be deployed using @LayerZero_Core.
