Joseph Lubin: Ethereum is the infrastructure for the reshaping of the modern financial system

PANews reported on May 29 that Joseph Lubin, founder of Consensys and co-founder of Ethereum, pointed out in an op-ed in the Financial Times that the current financial system is facing structural pressures such as a crisis of confidence, high inflation and debt accumulation. He believes that blockchain networks such as Ethereum are similar to the role of the Internet protocol HTTP in the 90s of the last century, providing a new type of decentralized, programmable infrastructure for the global financial system. Lubin stressed that this is not to replace traditional banks and fiat currencies, but to build an open financial architecture that coexists with the existing system and is interoperable, which has been adopted by institutions such as BlackRock and JPMorgan Chase.
