Earn Referral Program FAQ
Earn Referral Program (the "Program") let you invite friends to Earn and unlock APR boost rewards together. This FAQ explains how the Program works for both inviters and invitees.
How does the rewards work?
An APR boost of certain percentage points is added to the applicable base APR for the specified days subject to the applicable terms and conditions. APR is annualized. The Program page will show the applicable rate, eligible principal, duration, and activation method. Withdrawing or redeeming eligible principal may reduce or end promotional earnings. The APR boost voucher itself cannot be traded, transferred, or withdrawn.
For inviters
How does the Earn Referral Program work for inviters?
Share the exclusive Earn referral link or code from your program page. This code is different from your standard invitation code.
Ask your friend to complete the tasks on their program page within the stated timeframe.
Receive your reward after your friend completes the required tasks. The reward is normally issued within 24 hours and may take up to 48 hours in exceptional cases. If manual activation or a holding period applies, the landing page will show the activation deadline or release time. A hold or lock-up period may apply before you can use, trade, or withdraw the reward.
The tasks, reward value, per-cycle cap, and timeframes that apply to you appear on your program page.
Which invitation code should I use for the Earn Referral Program?
Use the exclusive Earn referral link or code generated on the program page. Only the Earn code makes you and your friend eligible for Earn referral rewards.
Can I edit the referral message or make my own claims?
Use only the referral link, code, and sharing content generated by OKX. Do not alter the stated APR, conditions, eligibility information, or risk information, promise guaranteed returns, provide personalized investment advice, or distribute referral messages in a misleading, unsolicited, or unlawful manner.
How do I check who I've invited through the Earn Referral Program?
Open Invite history on the program page to check your invitees and their task progress.
Where can I check my Earn referral rewards?
Open Invite history on the program page. You can use your reward after any lock-up period shown there ends. If activation or a holding period applies, the page will show the relevant deadline or release time. The voucher itself cannot be traded, transferred, or withdrawn.
Why haven't I received my Earn referral reward?
Common reasons include:
Your friend hasn't completed the required tasks on their program page
You've reached the referral reward cap for the current cycle
Your friend doesn't meet the eligibility requirements or hasn't passed risk checks
Rewards are normally credited after task completion and may take up to 48 hours in some cases. If you still haven't received your reward after 48 hours, contact OKX Support.
Why can't I withdraw my Earn referral reward after the lock-up period?
Rewards remain subject to eligibility, risk checks and real-time monitoring. If no issues are found, your reward becomes available when the stated holding period ends. OKX may withhold or revoke the affected program reward where relevant account or transaction records reasonably indicate fraudulent, dishonest, or abusive conduct. Where legally permitted, you may contact OKX Support to request review.
Can my friend change their Earn referral code after registration?
No. Your friend must apply the referral code before registering. If your friend is returning to OKX, they must apply it before binding their email address and signing in. The referral relationship can't be added or changed afterward.

How does the Earn Referral Program work if I'm new to OKX?
Register through a friend's exclusive Earn referral link or code.
Complete every task shown on your program page within your eligibility window. Only your own tasks count toward your reward.
Receive your reward after completing all required tasks. The reward is normally issued within 24 hours and may take up to 48 hours in exceptional cases. If your reward needs manual activation, activate it before the expiry time shown on your page.
The tasks, required amounts, reward, eligible products and assets, and timeframes that apply to you appear on your program page.
Where can I find the Earn Referral Program?
Open Campaign Center or select the Earn referral card on the app homepage.
Who's eligible for an Earn referral reward?
You may be eligible if you're new to OKX and register through a friend's exclusive Earn referral link or code. Availability also depends on your region. Check your program page to confirm your eligibility.
What tasks do I need to complete for an Earn referral reward?
Follow the tasks and amounts shown on your program page. Depending on your region, tasks may include identity verification, an eligible trade, or an eligible net deposit.
Which products and assets does the Earn referral reward apply to?
The eligible product, such as Simple Earn Flexible, and supported assets depend on your campaign and region. Check your program page for the details that apply to you.
Do I need to complete the Earn referral tasks by a deadline?
Yes. Complete all tasks within the eligibility window shown on your page and before the on-page countdown ends, whichever comes first.
What happens if I don't activate my Earn referral reward in time?
If your reward requires manual activation and you don't activate it before it expires, you'll forfeit it and can't recover it.
Can I claim the Earn referral reward more than once or combine it with other offers?
No. You can claim the reward once, and it can't be combined with another reward of the same type.
Are rewards subject to limits or availability?
Rewards may be subject to the individual, cycle, and campaign limits shown on the program page. If a quota applies, the page will disclose the allocation method and availability before participation. Once OKX confirms that you have qualified and reserved a reward, later exhaustion of the campaign quota will not affect that reward, subject to eligibility and fraud checks.
Will I owe tax on a referral reward?
Referral rewards may be taxable. You are responsible for determining and meeting your tax obligations. OKX may report or withhold amounts where required by applicable law.
Important Note
Inviters and invitees may receive different tasks. Each person must complete the tasks on their own program page to receive their own reward.
The terms displayed when you join apply to that campaign cycle. OKX may change the terms of future cycles. A later change will not reduce a reward that OKX has already confirmed as earned, except where required by law or supported by eligibility, fraud, or abuse findings. If a legally required change affects an active cycle, OKX will provide notice where reasonably practicable.
Terms and conditions
Affiliate users are only eligible for affiliate program rewards, and will not be eligible for referral rewards by inviting friends.
Sub-accounts will not be eligible to participate in this referral program, receive any rewards, or be invited as invitees.
Please note that the value of the rewards may fluctuate and may not be equal in value at the time a recipient has the ability to withdraw as a result of market fluctuation. Prices of digital assets, including stablecoins, can and do fluctuate at any moment. Due to such price fluctuations, you may increase or lose value in your assets at any given moment.
If there is any fraudulent behavior, such as fraudulent registration, buying or selling, or forging identity verification information, OKX will strictly review and control the situation, and reserves the right to cancel the participation eligibility and award rights of the related users.
If an invitation involves a cross-region scenario (for example, a Brazilian user inviting a non-Brazilian user, or an APAC user inviting a European Economic Area user), the inviter will not be eligible to receive the corresponding referral rewards.
Invitees must complete the specified tasks (for example, sign-up, identity verification, deposits, trading) via eligible channels and within the eligibility window and timezone shown on the program page.
Deposit tasks may include one-time deposits or cumulative net deposits made via eligible methods such as on-chain transfers and Fiat deposits during the displayed eligibility window. Withdrawals and other outgoing transfers may reduce the net deposit amount. Internal transfers, red packets, rewards, and purchases through P2P sharing orders do not count unless the program page states otherwise.
Trading tasks may include on-time eligible trade or cumulative eligible trading volume completed during the eligibility window shown on the program page. .
Inviters' rewards are determined by the completion of invitee tasks, and in some cases, may increase with additional tasks completed.
Rewards are normally issued within 24 hours after the platform records completion of all required tasks and may take up to 48 hours in exceptional cases. A holding period or manual activation requirement may apply if disclosed on the program page. If the reward is not shown after 48 hours, contact OKX Support.
OKX has the right to suspend, freeze, and/or seal user accounts and assets within the accounts according to applicable laws or OKX Terms of Service.
OKX reserves the right to disqualify or suspend accounts of any participant and confiscate all rewards of any participant who is found to be involved in any dishonest or abusive behavior in this referral program, including but not limited to click farming, registering multiple accounts, using others' accounts, using others' KYC information to register accounts, providing false KYC information, using device farms or other malicious tools for abusive, dishonest or fraudulent purposes, engaging in laundering trades or wash trades, violation of any applicable rules or policies of OKX or any campaign or project rules or terms and conditions or announcements (as amended and restated from time to time) in connection with the referral program, violating local regulatory rules or any engaging in other activities with the intent or result of abusing, disrupting or undermining the legitimate operation of the project, as determined by OKX at its sole discretion.This referral program is not (i) investment advice or an investment recommendation; (ii) an offer or solicitation, buy or sell digital assets; or (iii) financial, accounting, legal or tax advice.
