The expectation from traders and holders is that price will bounce, and they will get the opportunity to sell, but the issue is alts and btc have already had their bounces and now that everyone wants to sell the chances of decent bounces become less likely, and any micro bounce that is given gets immediately sold off.
Smart players don't take unnecessary risk when the environment isn't favorable to reward risk takers.
