.@sorpaas joins the Cantina Fellowship as our newest Fellow.
A former Ethereum and Polkadot core developer, he brings deep protocol experience, security insight, and a long-standing commitment to the safety of blockchain systems.
Here’s what he’s focused on now.
He’s the author of rust-evm, EIP-1283, and EIP-2200, and has contributed directly to the foundations of both the EVM and Rust-based blockchain infrastructure. That grounding informs every review he takes on.
Now, he’s turning that experience into systems thinking. He’s working on a structured methodology for protocol reviews and exploring an extension to CVSS to make severity scoring more suitable for blockchain security.
His technical focus remains on the EVM and Rust-based architectures, with an eye toward deeper formalism and long-term safety. He’s also part of the growing effort to make blockchain reviews more reproducible, measurable, and consistent.
Welcome, @sorpaas. We’re proud to have your perspective and precision in the Fellowship, and excited for what’s ahead.
