How DIA oracles work: Data Delivery
Prices calculated on Lasernet must reach protocols across 60+ blockchains: Ethereum, Arbitrum, Somnia, Base, and more.
Spectra, DIA's cross-chain messaging layer, handles this without the need for chain-specific integrations.
🧵

Spectra is a message-passing protocol built on @hyperlane that transmits oracle data to any blockchain.
Two delivery models available:
→ Push: Automated updates based on protocol-defined triggers
→ Pull: On-demand data requests when needed
Push model: Protocols configure update triggers - time intervals, price deviation thresholds, or hybrid approaches.
Data automatically delivers to destination chains when conditions are met.
Ideal for applications requiring consistent, automated price updates.

Pull model: Protocols request data only when needed.
Request sent from destination chain to Lasernet, price fetched from smart contracts, response delivered back.
Gas-efficient for applications that don't require constant updates.

Each protocol chooses its delivery configuration:
→ Push or pull model
→ Update frequency parameters
→ Deviation thresholds
→ Destination chains
Balance between data freshness and operational costs based on use case requirements.
