[Bartender Loopy's Main Job - Cocktail Introduction]
Take a break and relax~
Last time, I introduced a liqueur called Peachtree that you can enjoy lightly. So, what exactly is this "liqueur"? And have you ever seen the term "spirit" on a liquor bottle?
Let me break down the difference for you.
Difference between Liqueur and Spirit
Liqueur: Usually sweetened with sugar and flavored with fruits, herbs, or spices. They often have a lower alcohol content!
Spirit: Alcohol made by fermenting grains, fruits, sugarcane, or agave and then distilling it. No sugar is added (traditional definition). Acts as the "base" in cocktails. Usually around 40% alcohol.
Typical liqueurs include the previously mentioned "Peachtree", the coffee-flavored "Kahlúa", and the melon-flavored "Midori", among others.
Spirits include what we commonly refer to as "gin", "vodka", and "tequila"!
Now you can show off your knowledge about liqueurs and spirits wherever you go!!
If you have any questions about the next topic (like wanting to know a cocktail recipe, or anything about whiskey, etc.), just leave a comment and I’ll cover that in the next series hehe.

[Bartender Loopy's Main Job - Cocktail Introduction]
Take a break and relax~
Last time, I introduced my original cocktail, but today I'm back to introduce a classic liqueur.
It's the Peach Tree, which you might have seen somewhere before.
As for this friend,
1. It's very sweet,
2. The alcohol content isn't that high (about the same as soju..?)
So it's often used as an ingredient in cocktails. I've made a lot of cocktails with this Peach Tree, but since there's not enough space to introduce them all, I'll just share one!
Did you know that you can make cocktails at home without any pressure using this Peach Tree?
The ingredients are super simple, so definitely give it a try.
Ingredients:
Ice
Tonic water
Peach Tree
That's it! Just that.
Recipe:
45ml Peach Tree (about one soju glass)
100ml Tonic water (about two soju glasses)
Then fill it with ice
Mix it all together, and you're done! Simple, right?
And if you have cranberry juice or a little syrup at home, you can mix a bit to create a pretty color like below ㅎㅎ

There's a saying that all the drinks come together and enter the AI Network of @AlloraNetwork. I really like that saying. By leveraging the collective intelligence of AlloraNetwork on-chain, we can create a new AI output just like how various liqueurs come together to make a cocktail. It's similar to Chainlink's oracle... Yeah, something like that... In the sense that whether it's the decision-making of AIs or mixing drinks, we're trying to produce good results, isn't it similar?
Oh, and I'm looking for recommendations for communities to post about drinks..
