A few days ago, the "ETH10K" license plate sparked quite a discussion, so I invited the owner @WesleyEth10k for a proper interview.
He doesn't resemble a typical trader; he feels more like an engineer: adhering to the principle that "structure is greater than emotion," and leaning towards $ETH due to the verifiability of the EVM.
His approach to the future is also quite restrained—he won't sell even if it reaches 10,000, instead opting to lend a small amount of U on Aave/Compound while maintaining low leverage; he plans to build his position over the long term through dollar-cost averaging.
His method of making money relies on spot trading—arbitraging the perpetual basis/funding rates, achieving about 10% annualized returns even with a small volume; risk control is embedded in the process: multi-signature + time lock, gradual release, bytecode verification. He has also paid tuition during bull markets (BAYC, Otherside/Azuki nearly lost everything), and now he returns vanity to the market while returning certainty to the code.
