A friend recommended @adderrels Squirrel a couple of days ago, saying it's currently the leader on BRC2.0. I've taken a look at the overall architecture of BRC2.0 these days and I'm ready to start getting involved. In simple terms, BRC2.0 is a programmable upgrade to BRC20, no longer just mint/transfer, but it introduces capabilities like smart contracts, a modular system, Swap, staking, and more, all running on the Bitcoin mainnet. It's close to going live, with support for new token deployments starting on August 14, and from September 17, OG tokens (ORDI, SATS, etc.) will also automatically gain programmable capabilities. A batch of native DeFi applications, including CatSwap, CoinCooker, and 100Layer, are also being developed in parallel. What is everyone currently paying attention to? Feel free to DM me for a discussion. Lastly, to self-promote a bit, In the Bitcoin ecosystem, Every real wealth movement, Starts from the grassroots community, rising from the bottom up, and eventually reaching the top.
