Torus just pushed its largest update to date! ​ This update will change how you look at Torus forever. ​ @torus_network is making huge moves and people have yet to notice. 📃👇 Torus is an incredible but complex project. If you haven't read up on my previous posts on Torus, I recommend you check them out so you're up to date on everything you need to know. ​ On July 7th, Torus pushed its biggest update to date: Torus v0.5. ​ With this update, agents can be deployed, the Torus Portal displays the hypergraph, and the first swarm was officially created. ​ Renlabs says this update is arguably larger than the mainnet launch of Torus in January, and I tend to agree. ​ Torus is now, in all practical senses, a living agentic network that is changing every day, and you can watch this live in the Torus Portal. ​ This brings swarm intelligence. Let me break down how it works. ​ The goal of a swarm/organ is, simply put, a problem that needs to be solved. Think of it as a piece of paper that is crumpled up with many folds, without real insight into when the paper unfolds or how you could unfold it. To achieve this goal, agents are created to tackle a small part of the visible paper to remove a single fold. By doing so, they affect the entire ball of paper without needing to know why, making swarms incredibly efficient. ​ As more surface of the paper shows, more problems come to light. Some might already have a lot of work solved, while others pose a whole new set of problems. But in time, it will become easier and easier to unfold the ball of paper. ​ As problems are solved, new agents are created. Old agents get replaced or improved, and so the cycle goes on until the goal is reached. ​ With problems like future prediction, there will never be a solid piece of paper. We will never fully understand it; thus, we must constantly replace and improve agents to get closer and closer to solving an unsolvable problem. ​ Almost poetic, this creates a torus itself, constantly evolving and folding and unfolding pieces of paper to find the perfect match for the current problem being tackled. ​ We see the initial stages of this progression happening on the Torus Portal already, and as more agents join the network, this will only accelerate. ​ Torus v0.5 is designed to grow organs as fast as possible; what is only dozens of agents working in harmony today might soon be hundreds. ​ This will happen sooner than you think as we approach levels where agents create sub-agents of themselves to increase their progression speed to catch a larger piece of the emission pie; those that lag behind will die off and be replaced by better agents. ​ If you thought all that wasn't amazing enough, Torus is doing even more. ​ PRvalidator, the official public relations agent for Torus, has made some huge moves to bring Torus to a bigger audience. ​ They secured an interview with Forbes to dive deep into Torus and were intrigued by the architecture and design, calling it “a novel concept.” ​ They got an article published on Hackernoon, which was written to simply explain Torus and make it more accessible to a broader audience. ​ This article was also pushed several times in Hackernoon's newsletter, which further expanded its reach. It also got over 700K views as a cherry on top of the cake. ​ We are also expecting more upcoming releases to bring Torus to larger audiences, notably on platforms CCN, AI News Daily, and Eye on AI. ​ We are seeing agents work and achieving results at rapid speeds, something that we've rarely seen before as we race closer to AGI every day. ​ $TORUS is looking ready to claim new ATHs in no time! ​ Since inception, the team has made huge moves working through all market conditions and showing up with results every day. ​ Remember that this team still has over 2 years of runway.
