/ Led growth & product in Web2 before going full-time crypto in 2017. One thing still true: most crypto teams don’t know their users. Privacy ethos plays a role, I'm sure. So when I see something like @infinex’s user survey tonight, I take notice.
/ When I logged into @infinex and hit the Swidge screen, I saw a small link to a user survey. Most will miss it, I didn’t. I took it. As a marketer and product guy, it was refreshing to see a user-first approach in crypto. Here are the questions and my answers 👇
/ Question: What do you currently use to swap or trade assets across chains? Answer: Since having discovered Infinex, I do 90% of my swapping on @infinex. Besides Infinex, I use @MagicEden because of Bitcoin and Runes, especially $DOG, but I never touch my $DOG (Hi @LeonidasNFT).
/ Question: How does Swidge compare to the swaps you currently use? Answer: Amazing experience, especially cross-chain. Eliminating the need to bridge from one chain to the other is a huge unlock. For example, I unstaked sKaito 8 days ago on @base. After the 7 day cool down period, which is a terrible experience, I withdrew using Metamask, moved @KaitoAI to my Infinex account, then swapped Kaito from Base to ETH on Ethereum. Then I moved it back to my @MetaMask wallet and I bought an Infinex Patron. I kinda wish I could've bought a Patron from within @infinex, instead of having to move it back, that kinda sucked.
/ Question: If you could make one improvement to Swidge, what would it be? Answer: I think if you looked at user behavior, you'll see movements into Infinex, swidge, then movements out of @infinex. Why the movement out? I think it's so that users can use those assets elsewhere, like I did with moving ETH to metamask so I could buy a Patron on @opensea.
/ Question: What other wallets or exchanges do you use most? Answer: I use @Gemini and @krakenfx. I avoid @coinbase and haven't used Coinbase since 2016. Metamask and Magic Eden. @phantom sometimes.
/ Question: If you could add one feature to Infinex, what would it be? Answer: The ability to connect my Infinex account to applications is huge. At that point, 95% of my onchain activity will be on Infinex. The other 5% will be satisfied with onboarding from fiat to stables and then offboarding from crypto to back to fiat. At that point, Infinex will have eaten centralized exchanges and simultaneously eaten every wallet on the market.
/ And then a harmless question around demographics.
/ Then an invitation to meet with their product team in case they have additional questions.
/ This was really professional & refreshing to see teams like @infinex taking a user first, product first approach. I'd venture to say there are less than 10 crypto projects that have taken this type of approach and those that have will win because they're putting users first.
