Note: if you are logged in with a sub-account, by default you can only browse Orbit and cannot like, comment, or post.
Q: Why isn't there an Orbit entry point at the bottom of my App?
If your App version is outdated, the Orbit entry point may not display. Please update to the latest version and check again.
Note: if you have created a wallet, be sure to properly back up your wallet's seed phrase and private key before updating or uninstalling the App. To export your seed phrase: switch to the Web3 Wallet at the top of the App, tap the icon in the top-left corner of the home page → Backups, select the wallet you want to back up, and back up the seed phrase / private key address.

Tap Orbit, create your profile, and you'll become an OKX Orbiter.
If you see the error Failed to unlock OKX Orbiter, please try again later, update your app to the latest version and retry.
Note: if you have created a wallet, be sure to properly back up your wallet's seed phrase and private key before updating or uninstalling the App (refer here). To export your seed phrase: switch to the Web3 Wallet at the top of the App, tap the icon in the top-left corner of the home page → Backups, select the wallet you want to back up, and back up the seed phrase / private key address.
Content Publishing
Q: How do I publish a post or article?
Open the App and go to the Orbit page. Once your profile is set up, tap the post button in the bottom-right corner to write and publish your content. Make sure the App is updated to the latest version.
Q: My post was removed or flagged as sensitive content. Why?
Your post may contain content that violates the Community Guidelines and has been restricted. You may edit and re-publish once the content complies.
Q: Why can't others see my posts after I publish them?
This may be because your content doesn't comply with our community guidelines. To maintain a healthy content environment on the OKX Community, we take action against content or behavior that violates our policies, including but not limited to restricting certain community permissions, unlisting, or removing relevant content.
If you believe your account has been restricted or have questions about any actions taken, we recommend reaching out to the OKX Community Assistant or other official accounts for clarification.
Q: How do I sync my X (Twitter) posts to Orbit?
The X account you linked needs more than 5,000 followers to enable sync. Simply link your X account from the top-right corner of your Orbit profile page.
Q: How long does post moderation take?
After you publish a post, our team will review it in order as quickly as possible. Please keep an eye on the verification status on the page.
Q: What should I do if I find my post has been plagiarized?
You can tap More on the relevant post, select Report and choose a reason a reason to submit your report.
Q: How can I get more views on my posts? My post's traffic and views suddenly dropped — has it been throttled?
Quality content you publish has the chance to be featured in the For you section for other users, reaching a wider audience. Posts that generate strong user engagement may also be highlighted in trending posts, giving your content additional exposure and traffic.
We encourage you to keep creating quality content — the official community account regularly follows and supports high-quality work.
Q: Why does Orbit keep showing a "too many requests" error when I try to post? How long until it's resolved?
We're sorry for the inconvenience, but your recent activity has triggered a temporary rate limit due to frequent operations. The restriction will be lifted automatically after a certain period. Please wait and try again later.
Q: Why is a post only shown in English, and how can I translate it?
Orbit posts support multi-language publishing. You can open the post and tap "Translate" below the avatar in the top-left corner to display it in your local language.
Q: How do I publish/upload video content on Orbit?
Thank you for your interest in Orbit. Video upload is not yet supported — this feature is being worked on. Please follow @OKX Orbit for updates on future product releases.
Q: Someone commented on my post, but why didn't I receive a notification?
Please check Orbit → Messages → Orbit interaction notifications, and also check whether App notifications have been turned off at the phone system level.
In the App: Settings → Preferences → Message Notifications → Post Updates → Push Notifications.
Q: I added a cashtag to my post, but why can't I see it under that cashtag's feed?
The system's algorithm recommends content to the most relevant users, which doesn't mean your post isn't getting exposure. The actual recommendation effect builds up over time, and traffic data is affected by content quality, posting time, engagement, and other factors. We recommend consistently publishing valuable, in-depth original content and actively engaging with users — high-quality posts typically receive broader organic recommendations.
Contacts & Adding Friends
Q: How do I add a friend?
Regular users: You can go to the Orbit page in the app, tap + in the top right corner, then scan a QR code to add friends, or add friends through your phone’s local contacts.
VIP users: Go to Orbit > tap + in the top-right corner > Add Contact. You can search by phone number, email, or UID, or use QR code scanning.
Q: Non-VIP users can’t add friends. Why?
To combat fraud and protect user privacy, we have adjusted this feature. Non-VIP users currently can't use the Add Contact feature, but you can still go to the Orbit page in the App → tap [+] in the top-right corner, then scan a QR code to add a friend, or add friends via your phone's contacts. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Q: Where can I view my added contacts or the following list?
Go to Orbit page > Tap + in the top-right corner > New Chat to view your contact list. To view your Orbit following list, tap your Orbit avatar to go to your profile page, then tap [Following] to see who you follow.

Q: Is there a daily limit on adding contacts?
To protect the safety of users' assets and privacy, the Add Contact feature has a frequency limit. Adding friends too frequently within a short period may trigger this system limit.
Q: How do I block / unblock another user?
To block a user, tap the three dots in the top-right corner of their post or profile page and select Block. Once blocked, you and the other user will no longer be able to view each other's profile pages, comments, or Direct messages.
To unblock a user, go to Orbit → tap your avatar in the top-left corner → the three dots in the top-right corner → Settings, then select the blocked user to unblock them.
Group Chat
Q: How do I create a group chat?
Go to the Orbit page > Tap + in the top-right corner > New Chat > Create Group Chat. You can create up to 5 group chats.

Standard users can have up to 10 members per group. Orbit Advanced (Navigator) users can have up to 50. Upgrade to Orbit Advanced to unlock higher limits.
Q: Why was the group chat member limit suddenly reduced?
We have adjusted our community policies to better maintain a healthy environment. More official and KOL-partnered groups will be introduced. Thank you for your understanding.
Q: How do I join an existing group via QR code or link?
Tap the group chat invitation link to go directly to the group join page. Alternatively, on the Orbit page, tap the [+] icon in the top-right corner, select [Scan], and scan the QR code to join the group.
Q: How do I join a VIP-exclusive group?
VIP users can find the exclusive group entry on their profile page (visible to VIP users only).
Q: Why does QR code scanning fail when joining a group?
The group may have disabled QR code joining or have updated its QR code. You'll not be able to join via QR code in this case.
Q: Where do I manage group settings (Do Not Disturb, notifications, admins)?
Inside the group, tap … in the top-right corner to access all settings. To receive push notifications, make sure App notification permissions are enabled in your phone settings. Group admins are assigned by the group owner under Group Management.
Q: How do I join the OKX official group in Orbit?
Official groups are currently available only in selected regions, and some groups may require asset verification before joining. Please refer to your Orbit page for the latest availability and entry requirements.
Q: Why the @All feature in group chat isn't working or is it's stuck?
Please check your network settings, close the App from the background, and reopen it to try again.
Q: Why can I only see one day of group chat history?
If you haven't previously deleted your group chat history, we recommend checking your network settings, then closing and restarting the App to check again.
Messages & Notifications
Q: Where can I find my messages?
The location of the Messages feature has been updated. You can now access it via: OKX App > Orbit > Messages
Q: Why can't I post a comment? The page says "Too many requests."
If you see a "Too many requests, please try again later" message when posting a comment, this is usually triggered by too many actions in a short period of time. Please wait a moment, refresh the page, and try again.
Q: I sent a message, but the recipient can’t see it. Why?
If your account has been muted or flagged by our risk control system, your messages will not be visible to others. Please contact customer support to clarify.
Q: I’m not receiving messages, or messages are delayed. What should I do?
Confirm the group is not set to Do Not Disturb, then check your network connection and try closing and restarting the App.
Q: How do I enable or disable message notifications (likes, comments, group messages, livestreams)?
Go to Orbit page > Tap More > Settings > Receive In-App Message Notifications. Also confirm App notification permissions are enabled in your phone settings. For group messages, check that the group is not in Do Not Disturb mode (long-press the group chat to check).
Q: How do I prevent strangers from adding me to groups, or finding me by phone/email/UID?
Go to Orbit page > Tap More > Settings. You can turn off “Allow other users to add you directly to group chats” and control whether you can be found by phone number, email, or UID.
Q: Why are group chat messages not received or delayed?
For group chat messages, please first confirm that Do Not Disturb is not enabled for the group, then check your network settings and restart the App.
Q: Why am I unable to send images in group chat?
If the text messages are sent normally, please check your network settings, then close and restart the App to try again.
Q: Why did the Orbit message fail to send?
If your chat page shows "Connecting..." for an extended period, please try the following:
Force-close the App and reopen it
Keep your network connection stable and avoid frequently switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data
Minimize switching the App between foreground and background
Q: Why can't the sub-account send group chat messages?
Sub-accounts do not have permission to use group chat.
Q: Can other people find my profile page via my UID?

Violations & Appeals
Q: My account has been muted or restricted from posting. How do I appeal?
Your account has been muted for violating the Community Code of Conduct. Please wait until the mute period ends and then contact us to request removal of the restriction. Thank you for your understanding.
Q: My post was removed after being reported, but I believe it was a mistake. What can I do?
If your post was removed for a violation, you may edit it to comply with the guidelines and re-publish. For details, please review the OKX Orbit Community Guidelines.
Q: How do I report rule violations or spam in a group?
Send a direct message to the group owner or admin to report the issue.
Q: Are lead trading signals allowed in Orbit communities?
To maintain a healthy community environment and ensure a quality user experience, OKX currently doesn't support any form of community traffic redirection within the platform. If this policy is updated, we'll announce the changes via the official OKX Orbit account.
Q: How do I report harassment or abusive comments?
Tap More next to the comment to report it, or send a message to the Orbit Community Assistant.
Q: Is sharing external contact details (QQ / WeChat / QR codes) allowed?
No. Sharing external contact information such as QQ accounts, WeChat accounts, or QR codes violates the OKX Orbit Community Guidelines.
Q: Why is the OKX Community contacting me?
OKX Community is an official OKX account that may reach out to you for community-related matters. To verify whether the account contacting you is official, you can check for the green verified badge — accounts with this badge are official. You can also verify through the following steps:
On the web: Visit the Official Channel Verification page, select the channel type, and enter the account details.
On the app: Open the App > tap the Main Menu icon > Profile & Settings > Security > Official Channel Verification, then select the channel type and enter the account details.
If you have any questions or need further help with verification, feel free to reach out to our support team.
Note:
OKX official staff will never ask for your password, verification codes, seed phrase, or private key. Never share sensitive personal information with anyone.
Don't transfer funds to anyone claiming to be from OKX.
Q: Are futures copy trading promotional messages banned in Orbit communities?
To maintain a healthy community environment and protect the user experience, the platform currently does not support any form of community traffic-diverting activity, including diversion within the platform itself. Any updates to these rules will be shared promptly via the official Orbit account.
Q: Why was my group disbanded / why was I removed from a group?
If the group owner disbands the group, all members will be removed. If you were removed individually, it is likely because you violated the group's rules.
Q: Why were my posts taken down when I was muted?
Don't worry — once your account restriction is lifted, any posts of yours that comply with the Community Guidelines will be restored and displayed normally again.
Q: Why can I still see avatars/nicknames that violate the rules on Orbit?
We have been progressively handling these violating users, and most of them have now had their account access suspended and can no longer use Orbit normally. Due to a certain display delay in search results, accounts with suspended access may temporarily still appear in search results, even though they have already been suspended.
We will optimize this experience as soon as possible and will update search results accordingly so that accounts with suspended access no longer appear. We will also run dedicated efforts to address users who violate the Community Guidelines.
Livestreaming
Q: When will livestreaming be available? How do I apply, and what are the requirements?
The OKX Orbit live streaming feature has not yet officially launched and is currently in a testing phase. You can submit an application form to apply and fill in your information as prompted for registration. Once Livestream officially launches, you'll be able to apply to enable the feature right away. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Q: Where can I watch livestreams?
App: Orbit → For you → the scrolling banner at the top, or tap the avatar of a user who is currently live, to enter their live broadcast room.
Web: Orbit → the Livestream section on the right side.
Q: Why does my stream keep loading after I go live?
If your stream is stuck on the loading screen, try the following steps:
Make sure your App is updated to the latest version
After updating, exit and re-enter the live stream page
Switch between network connections (e.g. between Wi-Fi and mobile data)
If the issue persists, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.
Q: Why is the livestream/recording laggy?
Please check whether your phone is currently in power-saving mode. If so, turn it off and restart the App before trying again. If not in power-saving mode, try switching networks or clearing your phone's cache. We recommend using the latest App version for better stability.
Note: if you have created a wallet, be sure to properly back up your wallet's seed phrase and private key before updating or uninstalling the App. To export your seed phrase: switch to the Web3 Wallet at the top of the App, tap the icon in the top-left corner of the home page → Wallet Management → Wallet Management → Back Up Wallet, select the wallet you want to back up, and back up the seed phrase / private key address.

If you've livestream permissions, please contact your livestream point of contact and refer to the tutorial article Orbit livestream here.
Q: How do I enable tipping during a livestream?

Management rules:
Currently, the "KOL" badge remains valid indefinitely. If an account violates the Content Policy for OKX Orbit or other relevant rules, the platform reserves the right to revoke its verification and remove the "KOL" badge.
Note: the "KOL" badge only indicates that the account has completed verification of its social media follower count. It does not represent OKX Orbit's endorsement of any views, content, or investment advice posted by the account. Verification results for the "KOL" badge are subject to the platform's final review, and OKX Orbit reserves the final right of interpretation of the verification rules and related matters.

Select the Creator center
OKX Orbit homepage with creator profile option
You can view your total paid out in the Earnings section.
Q: How are Orbit rewards calculated? Why haven't I received my OKX Orbit rewards?
The OKX Orbit creator incentive is assessed primarily by the platform's algorithm, which evaluates the following three criteria:
Popularity of content: how widely your content is read and liked within the community
Quality of engaged users: the value and diversity of users who interact with your content
Strength of user connection: your followers' long-term engagement and interaction with you
The system automatically settles rewards at the end of each Reward cycle (Monday through Sunday) — no manual review or sign-up is required. Please note that if a post is found to violate community guidelines (such as engagement farming, low-quality posts, plagiarism, etc.), the platform reserves the right to disqualify the associated rewards.
Learn more here: OKX Orbit Creator Rewards Program is Now Live
Q: A comment on my post was removed for violating the rules — does this affect my creator rewards?
If a comment made by someone else under your post is removed for violating the rules, this generally does not affect your rewards as the creator.
Your reward eligibility is only affected in the following cases:
Your own account commits a community violation during the Reward cycle and is acted upon by the platform
Your post is hidden, taken offline, or removed
Your settled reward amount for the period is below 5 USDT
In short, other people's comment violations are independent of your creator rewards, so please feel free to keep publishing quality content. If you've further questions, feel free to contact us anytime!
Q: What is the Orbit Creator Rewards Program?
The OKX Orbit Creator Rewards Program is an incentive mechanism for all creators publishing quality crypto content in the Orbit community. As long as you publish eligible content on Orbit, the system will automatically include you in the weekly reward pool distribution based on content quality and genuine engagement.
For details, refer to the announcement here: OKX Orbit Creator Rewards Program is Now Live
Q: Do I need to sign up for the Creator Rewards Program?
No sign-up is needed. As long as you meet the eligibility criteria, the system automatically includes you in that week's reward settlement — no manual action required.
Q: What are the eligibility criteria for the Creator Rewards Program?
You must meet all 4 of the following conditions:
Your account has completed account verification (KYC)
Besides content synced from X, you have published at least one original crypto-related post or article within the community that week
Your account has no community violation record that week
At settlement, at least one of that week's posts or articles is still live (if all are deleted, you'll not be included in the reward calculation)
Meeting all 4 conditions above automatically enters you into that week's reward pool.
Q: What kind of post content counts as "eligible" for creator rewards?
Any original, crypto-related post is eligible — for example: market analysis, trading insights, project research, on-chain data analysis, market commentary, and similar content.
It's worth noting that original content published within the community receives a higher reward weighting, and original Orbit content is prioritized for visibility.
If low-effort posts, spam, or copied content is confirmed, reward eligibility for that period will be canceled, and further action may be taken depending on severity.
Q: How is the creator rewards cycle calculated, and when are rewards paid out?
Reward cycle: Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 (UTC+8)
Payout date: By 24:00 on the Wednesday following the end of each cycle
Payout method: USDT, sent directly to your OKX funding account — no manual claim required
Example: for content published Monday through Sunday of a given week, rewards will be automatically credited by the following Wednesday.
Q: Is there a minimum payout amount for creator rewards?
Yes. Your reward share for the week must be ≥5 USDT to be paid out; amounts below 5 USDT will not be credited. We recommend consistently publishing quality content and actively engaging with the community to improve your overall score.
Q: Does content synced from X (Twitter) count toward creator rewards?
Content synced from X can be included in the reward calculation, but please note the following two points:
Syncing from X cannot replace publishing original posts within the community — you still need to publish at least one original crypto-related post directly within the community to meet the eligibility criteria
Original community content is weighted higher for rewards than content synced from X
We encourage you to create directly within the Orbit community and provide valuable original content to community users.
Q: Does using fake likes, fake comments, or follow-for-follow / like-for-like schemes help with creator rewards?
No, and it carries risk. The system detects abnormal behavior such as wash engagement, bots, and collusion. If fraudulent behavior is confirmed, the platform reserves the right to revoke your reward eligibility. We recommend focusing on genuine creation and authentic engagement.
Q: I'm new and don't have many followers — can I still earn creator rewards?
Yes, there is no minimum follower requirement. We place greater weight on content quality and genuine engagement than on follower count. If your content attracts attention and engagement from high-quality users, even a new creator can earn rewards. Orbit's algorithm also recommends quality content to more users — visibility isn't limited to accounts with large followings.
Q: Can I earn creator rewards if I only publish one post a week?
In terms of eligibility, publishing just one eligible original post or article within the community meets the minimum requirement. However, the more quality content you publish and the more actively you engage, the more competitive your overall score will be. Since rewards are only paid out once they reach 5 USDT, we recommend maintaining a steady publishing pace and consistently producing quality content.
Q: My post got a lot of traffic today — why isn't it showing up in the Creator center data?
Creator center data tracks your performance within the Orbit community, including original posts, posts synced from X, livestreams, and group chats. The data only reflects performance over the past 7 days.
Q: My data looks similar across different periods, so why do my creator rewards vary?
Performance data, overall participation numbers, and content competition all vary from one Reward cycle to another and affect final earnings. So it's normal for rewards to differ between cycles.
