How do I buy crypto with Apple Pay?

Apple Pay is a secure, contactless mobile payment service by Apple that lets you make purchases using your Apple devices and linked cards. You can now use Apple Pay to buy crypto instantly on our platform—directly from your iPhone or other supported Apple devices.

This feature is currently available only to EU residents who have completed account verification. Please note that access also depends on the device and country supported by Apple Pay, and may differ from your verified country of residence with us.

How do I buy crypto with Apple Pay?

For the best experience, please add your card directly through the Apple Wallet app. Once added, you can choose Apple Pay as your payment method on our app to buy crypto with that card.

  1. Log in to your account on OKX app, go to Buy Crypto

  2. Select '>' icon under Select your payment method

  3. On the method selection screen, select Apple Pay

  4. Select the crypto and amount you want to purchase, then select Preview your order

  5. Review your order and confirm it by selecting Buy

  6. Authenticate the purchase using biometrics (Face ID/Touch ID) or your device PIN

1. How do I add my card to Apple Pay?

2. Why can’t I use Apple Pay to buy crypto?

Apple Pay is only available on iPhones and other Apple devices, and it's currently limited to verified EU users. If you're using an unsupported device or haven't completed identity verification, Apple Pay won’t be shown as a payment option.

3. What payment methods can I use with Apple Pay?

Visa and Mastercard credit or debit cards are supported.

Note: card issuers may decline certain transactions at their discretion.

4. Can I withdraw funds directly to my digital wallet?

No, withdrawals to digital wallets like Apple Pay or Google Pay aren't supported. You can withdraw funds to your linked bank account instead.

5. Why can't I withdraw the crypto I purchased using Apple Pay?

Although Apple Pay enables instant crypto purchases, some purchases may be subject to a temporary withdrawal hold as part of our security protocols.
