US INFLATION DATA KEEPS THE FED IN FOCUS
September core PCE inflation rose to 3.1% YoY, while headline PCE reached 3.6%. Both matched expectations, but the bigger concern is what comes next.
The Fed’s 10-2 decision to hold rates didn’t remove the possibility of another hike. Markets are still pricing in a strong chance of a December increase.
