November and December are turbulent times, right in the final stretch of the U.S. midterm elections. It's best to be cautious with U.S. stocks. Although the two big players have agreed to meet, just like before, don't set your expectations too high.
The tech sector has already split internally, with capital clearly shifting from hardware to software.
Those hardware stocks that previously showed strength and broke above the August 17 highs have now fallen back into the trading range.
