What is the EEA New User Bonus?

The EEA New User Bonus gives eligible new users onboarding tasks and rewards. Open Rewards > Welcome Rewards to see the offer linked to your account. Your tasks, rewards and deadlines may differ from another user's.

Who is eligible for the EEA New User Bonus?

Eligible users are new users in supported EEA markets who join through an eligible OKX promotion or invitation link, complete identity verification and pass the required account checks. Check Rewards > Welcome Rewards to see whether an offer is linked to your account.

Can a sub-account participate in the New User Bonus?

No. Sub-accounts can't join the New User Bonus or receive its rewards. Check Rewards > Welcome Rewards from the eligible main account.

Where can I see my New User Bonus tasks, progress and deadline?

Open Rewards > Welcome Rewards to see your assigned tasks, progress and remaining time. Open Rewards > My Rewards to check the status and release details of a reward you received.

Why don't I see a Welcome Rewards task after signing up?

A task appears only when an eligible offer is linked to the account used to register. First confirm that you're signed in to the correct main account and open Rewards > Welcome Rewards. If nothing appears, contact OKX Assistant so they can check your offer assignment and registration record; making a deposit or trade won't add an offer by itself.

Usually not. The EEA program requires eligible users to register through an approved OKX promotion or invitation link. If you used an eligible link but believe it wasn't recorded, contact OKX Assistant with the link and any registration evidence so the record can be reviewed.

The offer can depend on how you signed up—for example, through an OKX ad, a friend's invitation link or an affiliate link. Follow the offer shown in your own Rewards > Welcome Rewards page; another link or user's offer doesn't determine your tasks or rewards.

Why does a promotion page show different rules from my account?

The promotion may be outdated. First confirm that it came from an official OKX website and check its validity period. If it is still valid when you register but conflicts with Rewards > Welcome Rewards, save the official link and screenshots and contact OKX Assistant for review.

Can I delete my account and register again to get a new bonus?

No new bonus is guaranteed. The program is for eligible new users, and creating or registering more accounts to obtain rewards may break program rules and lead to disqualification or recovery of rewards.

Why does my account show Non-eligible even though I completed the tasks?

Completing the tasks doesn't guarantee a reward. Your account may still be marked non-eligible if program rules weren't met or an anti-fraud check was triggered. Contact OKX Assistant or use the available appeal option for a review; internal detection rules aren't disclosed.

Is the invitee's New User Bonus the same as the inviter's Referral Reward?

No. The invitee's New User Bonus and the inviter's Referral Reward are separate rewards for different people. The invitee should check Rewards > Welcome Rewards, while the inviter should check the Referral section.

Which deposits count toward a New User Bonus task?

Check whether your task uses total deposits or net deposits. Net deposit means eligible deposits minus withdrawals, so a withdrawal can reduce your progress. Internal transfers don't count as a deposit, but they're counted as a withdrawal.

Does an internal transfer count as a qualifying deposit?

No. Moving funds from another OKX account doesn't count as a qualifying deposit. Use an eligible external crypto or fiat deposit method shown in your task.

Which trades count toward the New User Bonus trading task?

Eligible activity may include Buy, Sell, Convert or order-book spot trades, subject to your task terms. Because of local regulatory requirements, X-Perps volume doesn't count toward an EEA NUB trading task. Zero-fee pairs are also excluded.

Do zero-fee trading pairs count toward my trading task?

No. Trades on zero-fee pairs don't count toward NUB trading volume. The set of zero-fee pairs can change, so check the current fee information and your task terms rather than relying on a fixed list.

How long can task progress or reward processing take?

Task completion and reward crediting can take up to 48 hours. Keep the relevant transaction or deposit records while you wait. If the status hasn't changed after 48 hours, contact OKX Assistant with the task screenshot and activity details.

What should I do if my progress is still pending after 48 hours?

Contact OKX Assistant so they can check your task and activity record. Provide your UID, the task name, completion time, transaction or deposit reference and screenshots from Rewards > Welcome Rewards. Don't repeat the activity unless the task tells you to.

Can my New User Bonus include an OKX Card task?

Yes. Some EEA New User Bonus offers include an OKX Card task. Check Rewards > Welcome Rewards to see whether your assigned offer includes one, and follow the Card task shown there. Availability and requirements can differ by offer.

What is an eligible OKX Card transaction for a New User Bonus task?

A Card payment counts only after it's settled and meets the rules shown in your Card task. A pending payment doesn't count yet, and a payment that's cancelled, reversed or refunded isn't treated as completed. Check the live Card terms for any merchant, payment-type or other exclusions.

Why hasn't my OKX Card transaction updated my task progress?

The payment may still be pending, may not meet the Card task terms, or may have been cancelled, reversed or refunded. Wait until it's settled, then allow the normal task-processing time. If the task is still unchanged after 48 hours, contact OKX Assistant with the task and Card transaction details.

How long can reward issuance take after I complete a task?

Task confirmation and reward crediting can take up to 48 hours. If the task shows as completed but no reward appears after 48 hours, contact OKX Assistant with the task screenshot and activity record.

What type of reward can I receive from Welcome Rewards?

A New User Bonus may issue a crypto reward, an Xperp Voucher or a VIP Pass, depending on the offer assigned to you. Crypto rewards can have different holding, trading or withdrawal rules, while vouchers and passes have their own use and validity terms. Open Rewards > My Rewards and the relevant reward page for the exact details; questions about how that reward works are covered by its dedicated support guide.

Can I withdraw my New User Bonus reward?

It depends on the reward you received. Some crypto rewards can be traded before they can be withdrawn, while others have different holding or release rules. Open Rewards > My Rewards and select the reward to see its withdrawal conditions and estimated release date.

Why does part of my own balance appear unavailable after I trade a crypto reward?

Some crypto rewards create a temporary hold based on the current market value of the original reward. If you trade it into another asset and the original token's price changes, the held amount can also change, which may make part of your balance look unavailable. Open Rewards > My Rewards to check the release conditions and date.

Can I trade a crypto reward while it's being held?

It depends on the reward. Some crypto rewards can be traded while withdrawal remains locked; others may have different restrictions. Check the reward details in Rewards > My Rewards before trading, transferring or using it in another product.

Why can a New User Bonus be cancelled or recovered?

OKX may cancel or recover a reward if program rules are broken—for example, through false identity information, extra accounts created to obtain rewards, or sham or wash trades. A reward may also be withheld when an anti-fraud check is triggered. OKX Assistant can help request a review, but internal detection rules aren't shared.

What is the difference between a task deadline, reward expiry and reward holding period?

The task deadline is the last time to complete the required activity. A reward expiry is the last time to claim or use a reward when an expiry is shown. A holding period limits what you can do with an issued reward until its release. These dates are separate, so check each one in Rewards > Welcome Rewards or Rewards > My Rewards.

My Rewards says the bonus was issued, but I can't find it. What should I do?

Open Rewards > My Rewards and check the reward type, asset, status and release details. If the record says it was issued but you still can't find it, contact OKX Assistant with the reward screenshot, task name and issuance time so they can check the reward record.

What should I do if the Welcome Rewards page is blank or fails to load?

Update the OKX app, sign out and back in, clear the app cache, switch networks, and try again on the supported app or web page. If the page still doesn't load, send OKX Assistant your UID, app version, device and operating system, the time of the issue, and a screenshot or screen recording.

What if the app and web show different task or reward statuses?

Confirm that both are signed in to the same account, then refresh and allow up to 48 hours for processing. If they still disagree, contact OKX Assistant with timestamped screenshots from both so the task and reward records can be checked.

How is a paid ads New User Bonus offer assigned?

A paid ads NUB offer is assigned using the registration attribution captured when the account is created and the user's country or region of residence (COR). The relevant signup source or campaign is the one recorded at registration. An ad impression or click by itself doesn't determine eligibility, and the ad creative can't override the offer assigned to the account.

If the account was attributed to other sources at registration, that attribution remains unchanged after signup. Viewing or clicking a paid ad later doesn't convert the account to paid ads attribution, so the paid ads NUB offer isn't available for that account.

Why is my paid ads NUB task or offer missing or different from the ad I saw?

An ad impression or click isn't a guarantee that the same NUB task or offer will be assigned. Paid ads can be shown across markets, and targeting may not always match the user's country or region or final eligibility. Check Rewards > Welcome Rewards—the task or offer shown there is the applicable one for your account.

I saw an ad offering a task, but I can't find it after signing up. Why?

The NUB task is assigned only while the campaign is active. If the campaign had expired by the time the account was created, the task wouldn't be assigned, and seeing the ad later wouldn't create it retroactively. If the channel recorded at registration didn't carry a NUB task, the account won't receive the paid ads offer based on that ad. Check Rewards > Welcome Rewards to see the offer assigned to the account.

After signing in, go to Rewards > Welcome Rewards. This page shows the tasks, reward amounts, validity period, and completion status currently available to you. Follow the information shown on this page.

Why can't I join the Referral NUB after participating in another new-user campaign?

Referral NUB rewards are reserved for new users, and each account's sign-up channel can only be bound to one channel. If you signed up using a link or invite code from another channel — such as an ad or an affiliate — your account is bound to that channel instead, so you can't also receive the Referral new-user bonus. Check which channel's link or code you used at sign-up to confirm which new-user bonus applies to your account.

How can I confirm whether my account successfully joined the Referral NUB?

After signing in, open Rewards > Welcome Rewards. If you're eligible for the Referral NUB, the page shows your tasks, reward amount, and validity period. On the inviter's side, Referral > My referrals (Invited friends) shows the friends you've invited who successfully registered, confirms that they're bound to you, and shows your own referral reward progress — but it doesn't show the invitee's NUB reward progress. Use your own Welcome Rewards page as the source of truth for your Referral NUB status.

Why are my Welcome Rewards tasks or rewards different from my inviter's Referral tasks or rewards?

Your Welcome Rewards and your inviter's Referral rewards are separate reward paths. Their task requirements, reward amounts, progress, and payout status are set and calculated separately, so they don't need to match. Go to Rewards > Welcome Rewards to check your assigned tasks, rewards, and expiry. Your inviter can check their own task and reward status on the Referral homepage or under My referrals > Invited friends.
