This removes base layer bottlenecks that limit validator performance.
5/11 Performance benefits include increased transaction throughput, reduced latency, enhanced validator performance through hardware acceleration, and the ability to expand geographic validator distribution globally.
6/11 DoubleZero has been founded by @Austin_Federa and backed by $28M from Dragonfly and Multicoin Capital at a $400M valuation.
Jump Crypto is also a core contributor, providing bandwidth infrastructure.
7/11 Currently in testnet across major cities, including Singapore, Tokyo, Los Angeles, New York, London, Amsterdam, etc.
Each city has DoubleZero devices providing connectivity and hardware for transaction filtering.
8/11 At @SolanaConf, Jump Crypto's Firedancer demo showed incredible performance, partially thanks to running on DoubleZero infrastructure.
The results speak for themselves.
9/11 The economic model burns fees paid in DoubleZero tokens, then remints 50% to bandwidth contributors as rewards.
This creates sustainable incentives for network participants to contribute fiber infrastructure.
10/11 While showcased with Solana, DoubleZero is blockchain-agnostic and designed for any distributed system needing low latency and high bandwidth - from DeFi to gaming to AI model training.
