STRK Staking v2 launches on @Starknet Mainnet on 17 June, introducing block attestation and regulated commission adjustments for validators, alongside enhanced liveness tracking for delegators.

1/ We’re thrilled to announce that STRK Staking v2 is going live on Mainnet on June 17! This upgrade brings two key features for validators: > Block Attestation: Validators will now need to attest to randomly selected blocks during each epoch, proving they’re actively tracking the network and reliable. > Commission Adjustments: Validators will be able to raise their commission, but only under strict conditions designed to protect delegators. More details on both features in the next tweets. To enable this upgrade on Mainnet, the staking contracts will be paused for a few hours, allowing the migration from v1 to v2 and giving validators time to integrate. As a delegator, there’s nothing you need to do for this migration. But once v2 is live on June 17, validator liveness metrics will become visible, a key factor for your rewards. Keep an eye on it and re-delegate if necessary. See you next week for the migration 🫵
