š Apple's Q3 results beat expectations, but the stock still slipped in after-hours trading.
At first glance, the numbers looked solid. Both revenue and earnings came in ahead of estimates, while iPhone sales remained resilient.
So why did the market react negatively?
š Investors were looking for more.
The services business and performance in China fell short of some of the market's higher expectations, and guidance for the coming quarters didn't provide the upside many investors were hoping for.
At the same time, capital continues rotating toward AI-focused companies, leaving traditional consumer electronics names facing greater valuation pressure.
Short-term volatility after earnings isn't unusualāespecially when expectations are already elevated.
Over the long run, Apple's outlook will continue to depend on its product roadmap, ecosystem strength, services growth, and the loyalty of its user base.
