The writing is on the wall.
Solana should embrace their rollups and build out a proper DA solution. A performant CLOB cant exist on Solana mainnet for years at best, never at worst.
@bulletxyz_ has a 3ms latency CLOB rearing to hit mainnet.
I do believe in the global state machine, but think in the meantime you want to remain competitive before others run off with an insurmountable lead.
And the best way to bridge the gap for now is to support a highly performant extension, at least until multiple proposers and ASS is here.
Think network extension teams love the ecosystem and believe Solana is the place to be to win, but some apps are just not feasible atm on mainnet and keeping them close will be better than losing them to Ethereum rollups or alt-DA providers who are optimizing for CLOBs.
