In short, Simple Buy prioritises convenience by providing a locked‑in quote within seconds, whereas Spot Trading offers greater control by letting you place orders at real-time market prices.

What's Simple Buy & Sell?

Simple Buy & Sell Crypto (sometimes called Convert) gives you an instant quote for your trade. The price is locked for a few seconds while you review it, temporarily shielding you from sudden market swings. The quote already contains a small spread, so the buying/selling price is higher than the selling price, but no extra fees are added after you confirm.

What is a spread?

A spread is the gap between the price you can buy (ask) and sell (bid) a crypto asset at any moment. Spreads can vary by asset, market depth, and base currency (AUD, USDT, etc.). During periods of high volatility or lower liquidity, spreads may widen. If you swap one asset for another and then swap back immediately, in addition to fees, you’ll pay the spread on each leg of the exchange.
