Issuer tokens are converted into shares at their respective real-time ratios; coverage ratio = converted shares ÷ on-platform shares. Data comes from the platform’s reserve reconciliation system and is updated daily.

Unified Tokenized Stocks are tokenized stock assets listed on OKX: you hold and trade the price exposure of an underlying stock or ETF, measured in shares, under one ticker with an "x" prefix (e.g. xAAPL, xTSLA). The same stock may have versions from multiple issuers; OKX consolidates them into one on-platform asset — one order book, one set of corporate-action rules. Initial assets are powered by xStocks, Backed Assets' tokenized-equity framework.

No. Unified Tokenized Stocks do not represent actual shareholding in the underlying company. They provide price exposure only, with no shareholder rights such as voting unless the issuer explicitly states otherwise. Prices can be highly volatile and you may lose some or all of your investment. For specific rights and risks, refer to the product terms and the issuer’s official documentation.

Dividends are not paid in cash. When a company pays a dividend, its value is reinvested at the issuer level and passed to you as a small increase in your share balance, net of applicable withholding tax (determined by the issuer and applicable tax rules — OKX neither sets nor controls it). You’ll see your balance rise slightly and receive a notification. Trading does not pause during dividends.

Withdrawals are currently paid in xStocks tokens on X Layer and Solana (e.g. AAPLx, TSLAx): your share balance is converted back into tokens at the ratio at the time of withdrawal and sent out net of fees. "Unified" refers to on-platform positions, trading and accounting — it does not mean you can choose which issuer’s token to withdraw. As more issuers are onboarded, withdrawals will settle in a supported issuer’s token available at the time; OKX will make reasonable efforts to honor specific requests, subject to availability.

Yes. Unified Tokenized Stocks trade 24/7, including weekends and underlying-market closures. Outside the underlying market’s trading hours, prices are based on the latest close plus market expectations, and volatility may increase. Prices outside market hours are indicative and may not fully reflect post-market developments; significant price gaps may occur when underlying markets reopen. When earnings or breaking news hit, you can react right away — no waiting for Monday’s open.
