There is some historical merit to this argument, but the timeline matters.
Mt. Gox, Bitfinex, Coincheck and FTX all preceded periods in which BTC eventually printed new highs. The catch is that some recoveries took years, not weeks.
Mt. Gox was followed by another 56% decline over the next year. Coincheck happened near the beginning of a brutal bear market. The eventual recovery had much more to do with broader market cycles, liquidity, and adoption than the exchange incidents themselves.
