$CC went live today!
I'm personally interested to see what this token and listing will do.
The reason for this is that its an infrastructure that all institutions are looking for.
Fully decentralised is all great, however, as $LINK has described last week at Smartcon: a compliance and private ecosystem is required for institutions to be joining the Web 3 ecosystem.
It's essentially bridging TradFi <> DeFi.
Additionally, Canton is one of the few protocols with a ton of strong backers:
- YZi Labs
- Polychain
- Goldman Sachs (!)
- BNP Paribas
- Citadel Securities
- DTCC
A strong list of backers, not only from the Web 3 ecosystem, but also traditional investors backing a protocol providing a solution for them to be onboarded on-chain.
