8 months ago @AcolytAI started as a CTO from a telegram group to test launching tokens on Virtuals.
Even the name is wrong and there’s nothing we can do about it “Acolyte by Virtuals” 🥲
But, we managed to show our distribution capabilities by paying ZERO in marketing or ads or KOLs or infofi we went to 70m (ofc the AI agent market was hot) but regardless
Although I had many successful businesses in the past, mostly for myself, like a software house and a marketing agency: I never ran a token project before as a CEO. Only as the marketer or advisor.
This hits different: you got to:
- run a community of thousands of investors all of the world.
- run a regular startup but harder because your team has to build for AI, but also for crypto: smart contracts, staking, bots, etc.
- manage comms across regular socials but also CT.
- a shorter term vision since it’s like you have stocks but you don’t have Meta money lol
But here we are: months later, 1 pivot, 1 rebrand @ACO_labs, and now heads down focused on AI distribution.
