Lending = giving money in exchange for fixed yield, regardless of returns generated on capital Vaults/strategies = giving money for % of returns generated on capital Who should I be reading about for vaults/strategies? I know - Ethena - Veda (half of defi) - HL Vaults
Each has their unique points: 1/ Ethena is a single vault (USDe, not counting USDtb in this) and tokenizes into a yield-bearing stablecoin. Generally very bullish on this structure for max composability.
2/ Veda pursues a headless growth strategy, whitelisting under teams like EtherFi and (I think) Aave. Similar to Kalshi operating as the prediction markets exchange for Robinhood. Lower margin, much higher tvl.
3/ HyperLiquid Vaults enables anyone to create their own vault under constrained settings (only HL perps). I think we’ll see an explosion here with HIP-3 and expansion of HL spot.
