Kaito's leaderboard was initially launched through a retroactive reward mechanism, where teams would reward contributors without prior announcement of incentives. For example, projects like Eigenlayer (which has used Kaito's data) and Berachain have previously provided large-scale retroactive rewards to creators. Currently, we still retain and will continue to launch various non-incentive leaderboards to recognize outstanding creators and voices. At the same time, we now have various forward-looking incentive leaderboards, so we will prioritize ensuring that these leaderboards have clear incentive mechanisms, detailed information, participation qualifications, and other content to provide users with a more transparent experience. To this end, we have updated the Kaito Earn interface to showcase these details — we are also collaborating with teams that are currently providing rewards to ensure that all important information is fully communicated to users. We still have, and will continue to have, various unincentivized leaderboards, all recognizing top creators and voices. Equally, nowadays we have various forward looking incentivized leaderboards, so we're prioritizing making sure these have clear mechanisms, details, eligibility factors and more, for a more transparent experience. To better solve for this, we've now updated our Kaito Earn UI to reflect these details - with us working with existing teams running rewards on sharing all important details to users. We'll also be enforcing these details as requirements for new incentivized rewards listed on Kaito.
