When we started Relay 18 months ago, we didn’t have a grand master plan. We just knew that bridging was too damn slow and expensive. And so we set out to fix it. But along the way, the vision has become clearer. It’s more than just cost and speed. It’s global availability, on every chain you want to use. It’s built-in exchange, so you can pay with anything. It’s deep liquidity, that’s there when you need it most. It’s reliable execution, that works every time. We call the sum of all of these pieces a “Payments UX”. If the world is going to come onchain, the experience needs to match or exceed how online payments work today. It’s Relay’s mission to build the liquidity backbone for this onchain economy. To build a multichain payments network. While many people might think of Relay as an app, there’s so much more going on behind the scenes.
