@Lighter_xyz points have been distributed ! I have something interesting to report this week:
On the higher point account, depositing size + trading with Sharpe >7 and pretty decent PnL led to 3 digit points.
On the smaller point account, I experimented with swing trades on longer holding periods.
Points efficiency wise, the swing trade account gave me more points per capital risked.
Not sure what the exact factor was, but the bigger account had more intra-day trades. (Perhaps they want to encourage more swing traders/HTF traders/more differentiation from typical Lighter traders to come onboard?)
But regardless, this is proof that points are still readily available if you are actually serious about trading and actually trade good. You simply can’t fake it aside from trading it really well.
Volume is an inflated metric and likely takes up less than 10% of the points formula imo. TLDR really is just be a good trader.
One of my best weeks on Lighter so far thanks to the market heating up. And ofc, if you’re still trading perps on CEXes or other perp DEXes like Hyperliquid/Drift, just give it a try tbh.
