Stablecoin - How do US Treasury bonds affect the Crypto market? 🧐
Tether has just surpassed Germany in terms of US Treasury bond holdings and ranks 19th globally compared to countries. Tether currently holds over $120 billion compared to Germany (about $111 billion).
The US wants to narrow its creditors within the scope of companies and enterprises they can control, including Tether. Currently, US Treasury bond interest rates are rising, which at first glance may seem like bad news, but from another perspective, we can see that Tether is making a lot of profit because they are one of the largest long-term US Treasury bondholders.
With the recent money minting flow, we can derive a formula:
Bond increase = Tether profit (Bond Margin: USDT Cap) = Continue printing money = Market continues to rise
