Starting last Friday we are doing something I doubt anyone has done in gaming history. We are prototyping a new game as an in-game event within @ParadiseTycoon Paradise Legends ⚔️ will be the second game in the Paradise IP ecosystem. It's an action arcade RPG with true interoperability with Paradise Tycoon, allowing players to use weapons (tools), consumables, and other crafted items across both games.🌴 The reason why we are prototyping Paradise Legends as an in-game event is to 🍍Leverage our existing player base for testing and feedback 🍍Tap into Paradise Tycoon's metalayer, like crafting tools (weapons) and consumables (health potions, speed boosts) 🍍Rapidly iterate features with community involvement During these events, we'll develop and iterate the game through week long rounds, with short breaks between each round. Each iteration will introduce new features and refine the core gameplay loop. 1️⃣st round: We've introduced monsters with varied characteristics into Paradise Tycoon. Axes, Pick Axes, and Scythes now function as weapons, with hit speed and damage scaling by rarity. Players have HP. The inventory locks during battle - forcing careful selection of items for your 5 hot bar slots. 2️⃣nd round: We're implementing different weapon damage types, along with monster resistances and vulnerabilities. We're also adding recipes for various health potions - making smart loadout choices more strategic. 3️⃣rd & 4️⃣th rounds: These will be shaped by community feedback and suggestions. After these rounds, Paradise Legends will evolve into a standalone beta launch, fully powered by $MOANI with most of its metagame layer existing in Paradise Tycoon
