It's a matter of "when," not "if," @0xfluid flips @Uniswap in both trading volume and token capitalization.
Uniswap comes from DeFi 1.0, which focuses on moving liquidity. Some examples are:
- Lending: $AAVE / $COMP.
- AMM: $CRV / $UNI / $SUSHI.
- Compounding: $YFI.
Their concept is simple; significant changes are made rarely, and usually tokens have high FDV and barely break their ATHs (if).
"What about Fluid?"
Fluid comes from DeFi 3.0, which focuses on accessibility of liquidity (UX and low fees). Some protocols from DeFi 3.0 are @HyperliquidX, @pendle_fi, @ethena_labs, and others.
Currently, $FLUID sits at $240M MC, and I believe it's going to be a $1B valuation protocol.
As a DeFi protocol with a large TVL ($3B) across different L1s and L2s, it isn't tied to a specific ecosystem. It can pay off even if different chains will have success... which is a nice diversification.
