attended @chainlink 's smartcon conference today in NYC.
key highlights:
- institutions are really here; main hall was full of people in suits
- assessing crypto risks is now a competitive space; @SPGlobal & @moodysratings have started labelling stablecoin depeg risks to start with
- tradfi institutions including banks and funds are now looking onchain for efficiency and settlement
- compliance is still no 1 priority; insurance / risk coverage comes second
- @chainlink really ships; you might think it's gone slow being a large company but you're wrong
- they launched CRE (chainlink runtime environment) on mainnet today; i think this could be a catalyst for the onchain finance
ps: also attended robocon at the @monad office today; think robots are gonna get commercial really soon (video attached)
