I hope the recent visit by @realDonaldTrump and @elonmusk will help bring @Starlink to the UAE and @emirates. Emirates still offers the best service, and the only reason I fly Qatar is because of the onboard Wi-Fi. While Qatar’s inflight internet is great, Doha airport’s connectivity is terrible and blocks many websites.
The 58th/59th flight of 2025: Qatar Airways QR4/QR834 from London Heathrow via Doha to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi. This is the 1022nd/1023rd flight of all time. It is also my 114th visit to the Kingdom of Thailand.
Coincidentally, both QR4 and QR834 were operated by the same aircraft: Airbus A380, A7-APE. I was seated in 2A on the first leg, and 2E on the second. When I boarded the plane again at gate B1 in Doha, I told the flight attendant that I had been sitting in the adjacent seat just two hours ago. She said no one was assigned to 2A for the second leg, so she let me sit back in my original seat. 🇬🇧✈️🇶🇦✈️🇹🇭
