$ZEC just activated its NU7 upgrade on public testnet.
The biggest change: block times drop from 75 seconds to just 25 seconds. NU7 also retires legacy Sprout transactions and introduces changes to the network’s sustainability mechanism.
This is a meaningful protocol upgrade, not marketing. The real test now is whether the network stays stable with 3x faster blocks.
Mainnet is currently targeted for November 5, pending the October 20 decision.🤔
