Visa and Mesh are testing a practical distribution thesis: stablecoin spending may advance fastest when merchants need not adopt new rails. Routing and conversion behind existing Visa systems remove a visible friction point, but they do not establish recurring consumer demand. Coverage creates optionality; payment volume still has to be earned.
